strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats A SWOT analysis is a strategic planning tool used to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of our club. Developing a SWOT analysis can help us look at what we do in a new way and from different directions. It can also help us to create and fine tune our existing strategies. Club members shared their ideas and concerns at a recent meeting to see if what we are doing is the very best that we can do with our current resources. At its core, SWOT analysis acts as a guide for creating strategic actions. It helps in identifying the strong points to use, areas of weakness that need attention, opportunities to go after, and risks that must be managed.
