Mike from the RAA spoke to members about safer driving for older persons.  Statistics show that older drivers know their road rules, and overall are safer drivers, however are more likely to be seriously injured in an accident and recover more slowly if at all. Older people don't bounce.

Using cheeky cartoons and sobering statistics, Mike alerted us to the dangers in an engaging yet sobering way, using cartoons, quizzes and diagrams to make his point.

An excellent presentation well received by members.

 

Our final recycling morning for 2025 was held last Saturday at the Rotary sheds. Whilst our recycling efforts do raise money, these mornings are also a good opportunity to talk and share whilst enjoying a nice hot cuppa and cake/sandwiches. 

Our next Recycling morning will be Saturday February 7 2026. Wow! where has 2025 gone!!
