Morphett Vale CFS on parade for RCMV
 Morphett Vale CFS members presented themselves 'on parade' to recieve a donation of $1000 from the Rotary Club of Morphett Vale.
 
 
 
 
Annual Beanie Sale 25 June
Our ANNUAL BEANIE and RUG SALE is on again in front of COLES Reynella Square on 25 June.
All handmade in South Australia, these original sought after items sell out quickly.
 
 
We are also looking for more keen knitters and crocheters to contribute to our beanie sale fundraiser.

Drop off point: Rotary Hall, 2 Brixton St, Christies Beach. 4th Wednesday each month, 10.00am-12.00pm

NYSF student Rhonan shares his experiences
 
Rhonan (pictured with President Merilyn and Immediate Past President Susan) was sponsored by Morphett Vale Rotary to attend the National Youth Science Forum. Rhonan attended our meeting last night where he shared his experiences with us.

Defibs for scouts
With the help of a City of Onkaparinga grant we were able to present one of 2 defibrillators to the Hallett Cove Scouts for use in their Scout Hall.

The second defibrillator from our City of Onkaparinga grant was delivered to 1st Port Noarlunga Sea Scout Group.

Vocational visit to Dinki Di Engineering
 
 
 
 
 
 
A very interesting vocational visit on Thursday evening to DinkyDi Engineering, Ian Thomas’ factory at Lonsdale. Our facinating walk through the factory was filled with amazing details about what he produces, what the huge machines do and an introduction to his latest purchase… a huge machine from Taiwan… that makes things!!!!
After a chicken & salad dinner members enjoyed some fun time in the “Bored Room” playing his pinball machines including my favourite, his latest purchase; The Beatle Machine.
