QUIZ NIGHT FUN COMING
RYPEN Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment
Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN) provides a group of young people aged 14-17 an opportunity to develop self-awareness and valuable leadership skills. This weekend long program sees young people engage with like-minded others, while having fun and learning new skills in areas such as problem solving and public speaking. On top of learning these skills, RYPEN will gives a chance to put them to practical use, through debate and physical activity.

Our members sponsored  'Bella' from Reynella East College to attend RYPEN recently. Her presentation showed us some of the friends made and activities undertaken during this program. Thank you Bella for your courage in stepping into the unknown.

Donuts at the Yankalilla Show
By partnering with other clubs, Rotarians make the most of one their 'four way tests' of creating better friendships.
Members of the Rotary Club of Yankalilla asked for help operating their donut food van at the recent Yankalilla show.
Dini, Alan, Marion and Sandy enjoyed the experience of cooking donuts for show patrons. The weather on the day was perfect for the show which attracted people from all over Adelaide and the near country.
Dini and Marion from Morphett Vale and Tracy, a cheerful supervisor from Yankalilla.
Partnering with Tugra Shan
Our partnership with Tugra Shan Martial Arts School continues with a BBQ for their students recently. President Phil,Director Merilyn and PE Cheryle cook hot sausage, onion and bread sandwiches. A recent 'One and All' sail training participant was also a Tugra Shan student.

NEWS
Ring pulls for INTERPLAST
At our recycling mornings on the first Saturday of the month, club members prepare cans, rope and other recycling to raise funds for our projects. Along with a nice morning tea, this is a good opportunity for members to catch up and chat whilst doing good for our community.
Our recent recycling morning raised ...
$ 192 for INTERPLAST from ringpulls
$ 27 for club funds from cans and
$ 44 for club projects from assorted recycling.
Thank you everyone for your efforts.

Also on the subject of money...

Our efforts at the Southern Football League finals Footy gates raised $24 per hour whilst we were on duty.

We then shared that bounty with the volunteers who assisted us to fill the rosters from the Morphett Vale RSL, R C Flagstaff Hill, Tugra Shan, Morphett Vale Probus and others.

Thank you everyone, your service above self has immense value not only to our club but to others as well.
