Noarlunga MFS a hit
Club members visited the new Noarlunga Metropolitan Fire Service Station. State of the art and manned 24/7, the station is earthquake proof and a good place to have locally in an emergency.

President Marion Report
This has been a busy week for our District conducting not only Presidents Elect Preparation (PEP) training for incoming presidents on Saturday, but also District Assembly all day Sunday.
Dini, Merilyn, Sandy, Tracy, Rose, Mark and I attended Assembly and the training sessions afterwards. Merilyn and various club members also sold another 5 books of raffle tickets. We saw the presentation for the 2023-2024 Rotary Year. Incoming President Gordon R McInally, his background and his vision for his Rotary year includes effective mentoring, a Rotary that reflects our times, best membership practices and respect to all. Updated training included IT especially clubrunner and My Rotary, current International projects especially Shelterbox, Youth programs, secretarial and treasurers updates, also news about our insurance, safe work practices and timely paperwork. Plans for the Centenary of Rotary in South Australia were unveiled as was the latest on the Rotary Foundation. An enjoyable day for all those attending.
Bulletin 129 has been delivered to your email addresses. Is there something you would like to see in the bulletin? Directors, is there something you would like to promote? Contact Dini to add any stories to the next issue.
A reminder about The Rotary Club of Seaford’s Quiz night on 28 April. More details are available on their web site https://www.seafordrotary.org.au/. See Susan for a spot on our table
Last chances this month to sell your tickets at a prearranged venue. See Sandy or Merilyn. All tickets, sold or unsold to be returned to the club by 21 April please.
