Vale Valued Member

Members and friends are advised of the passing of our dear member Merilyn Russell on 19th August.

Merilyn was a proud member of Rotary for over 26 years with Morphett Vale being her home club for the last 8 years. An active Rotarian, Merilyn held the roles of Area Governor (D9520), Club President and was recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow with two Sapphires. In addition, Merilyn held the role of District 9510 Interplast representative. Interplast is an Australian and New Zealand not-for-profit organization that sends volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to the Asia Pacific region to provide free medical treatment and training.

 

Merilyn's family have requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Rotary Club of Morphett Vale be made in memory. Funds collected will be used to continue the projects dear to Merilyn.
