Welcome to 2022 - another year of COVID, of 90% of South Australia's population double vaccinated, of 70 deaths and another year of masking, sanitising and social distancing. On the plus side, Influenza infections are at an all time low due to our diligent preventative measures.
What will 2022 bring? The Chinese year of the TIGER begins on Feb 1 and lasts until 31 January 2023.
The TIGER brings a year of risk-taking and adventure. of finding enthusiasm again, both for ourselves and for others. Everyone is fired up, generosity is at an all-time high and social progress feels possible again.

Already Morphett Vale Rotarians have accepted new 2022 Bunnings BBQ dates to sell their tasty sausages at Noarlunga.
We have manned the beach ramp at Sellicks Beach raising funds with the Southern Football League for our projects. A good opportunity for strengthening our footy partnership and showing our colours to beachgoers.
We have distributed new backpacks filled with school goodies to local children in Hackham West.
We have received grants to build a community garden in Christies Beach and to replace our damaged Rotary marquee.
Our 'Trees for life' project is growing,
The 'End Polio' Ute has been active in our area
and our new theme for 2022-2023 has been released -'IMAGINE ROTARY'- A great partnership with the adventurous year of the TIGER!
And it is only January!
