The Rotary Club of Morphett Vale celebrated their 3rd birthday at their Presidential Changeover Dinner on June 27. Venue was the Old Horndale Winery with an excellent meal prepared and served by owners Phil & Nolleen Albrecht and staff.
Invited guests included Amanda Rishworth Member for Kingston, Nat Cook, Member for Hurtle and Neil, Katrine Hildyard Member for Reynell, Alayna de Graaf City of Onkaparinga Councillor, Craig Warman, Malcolm Martin from Southern Football League, Gary Hennessy Gary’s Bazaar (Sponsor), Andrea Jones, Peter Hawker Yankalilla Rotary Club, Lila Newman, Jody Holdbeck, Rotary partners, friends and both club and visiting Rotarians.
Amanda Rishworth presented the club with a certificate representing our successful grant application to refurbish the small kitchen at Rotary Hall.
President Susan also presented Malcolm Martin from the Southern Football League with a Paul Harris Fellowship for his long service to Football and the Southern Community.
Our 3rd birthday cake was cut and distributed to everyone at the dinner.
President Susan then inducted incoming President Merilyn Russell as club President for 2021-2022.
President Merilyn then introduced her incoming board for 2021-2022 and club members to those present.
The club Annual Report 2020-2021 was distributed to members to close the day.
