Can you imagine not having regular access to hot water, or when on the rare times you do, not having any products to keep you clean? If you are also responsible for keeping children clean how much harder would it be? No shampoo or toothpaste? Nothing to keep these products together when you do collect a few. Your daily struggles for food and shelter too would seem unending.
Rotarians are collecting products and sewing bags for the homeless in our area.
Yes, we do have local families and individuals without regular appropriate accommodation.
Rotary members are also on a task force to combine the resources of a number of local assistance agencies to help the homeless.
