$1000 donation to the Morphett Vale CFS.
After the summer fires and some good sausage sizzles, Morphett Vale Rotary members voted to donate $1000 to the Morphett Vale Country Fire Service for new equipment. Special items are not funded by the government and our donation will contribute towards keeping us and our our firies safe.
An important night on Monday March 15, when we visited the Morphett Vale CFS to view their training night and present our cheque for $1000 to support their purchase of equipment to use in their operations keeping us safe. Listening to how the CFS is organised was a great eye opener for us all, especially the equipment, like special cameras @$12000 each, which are not provided by government.
And holding the hoses was a bit of fun as we understood the pressure that the water comes out at.
So Thank you for having us and keeping us safe; look forward to our partnership into the future.
