Rotary gained a coveted grant from Amanda Rishworth MP to refurbish and upgrade their 'snacks kitchen' at Rotary Hall. The kitchen will be welcomed by groups using the hall for drinks and snacks dispensed in a Covid safe way.
The larger kitchen opposite the main hall with hotplates and ovens will be upgraded at a later date to comply with new regulations as a commercial kitchen.
Project manager Ian had a short time frame between receiving the grant and completing the work, which was on time and under budget. Over 95 hours of volunteer labour over 31 days. Excellent work Ian and crew Garry, Tony, Phil and Vanessa.
