Rotary's new area of service - the Environment.
Rotary club of Morphett Vale and Rotary Club of Flagstaff Hill members joined to prepare and plant seeds for 'Trees for Life'.
Many thanks to Tony & Sue Galpin for welcoming us into their home this afternoon and inducting Ian David, Joy Stinson, Garry Pash, Tracy Miller and myself into the mysteries of Trees for Life.... preparing tubes of soil, seeding and gravel placing and all the little tricks to ensure the growth of healthy seedlings.
This is certainly a very important way to help the environment whether it’s growing seedlings for a certain project or to help a farmer replant after drought/bushfire.
