Meeting 99 notes
Meeting 99 opened 7:05pm
Merilyn welcomed guests Barbara Wheatcroft and Di Clements from Australian Rotary Health, Joy and Rosemary.
Apologies from Terry and Ray, Raelene, Grant, Susan, Garry, Chris A and Mark.
Merilyn thanked members for organising the Melbourne Cup event, our grant application for a new marquee is pending, 14 groups have committed to take our Mother's Day Community Raffle,  our club has purchased a stall at the Old Noarlunga Oval Christmas Fair, 29 November Zonta BBQ at Noarlunga, District Assembly 6 March, Trees for Life membership approved. 25 November Spirit of Women event planned, our club was featured in 2 articles in the Rotary District News. Well done club members.
Tony reviewed the October club visit to DIK, next visit March 2022,
Joy advised that our Knit and Natter group at Rotary Hall began with six non Rotary members and some club members.  The community Garden planned will only have a short lease.
 
Speaker Barbara Wheatcroft, an ambassador of ARH and past ARH Director of two Rotary Districts gave an excellent presentation on Australian Rotary Health https://australianrotaryhealth.org.au
President Merilyn thanked both ARH representatives
 
Jeanette gave a toast to the Rotary Club of Dunedin NZ.
