Meeting Notes
A ZOOM meeting was held Wednesday 3 April to discuss the grant allocation brought to our attention by Amanda Rishworth. Several items were discussed and followed up. Dini will now continue with the application.
New Rotary Year. Merilyn is planning for the new year starting in July. Her directors planning meeting on Sunday May 16th is very important so please try to attend.
Vintage & Classic breakfast. Menu and serving will be a little different. We will also sell cans of drink and fruit boxes.
One & All Update. The April Sailing leaves this next Sunday 11th April and our sailor Liam Matheson has all his information regarding times and what to take. Gaynor will be at the wharf to see him off but it would be great if we can have some more members to represent our club as well.We are also thinking about the September sailing already and have the possibility of several participants from Tugra Shan already.
NYSF Applications. These have now opened for the January 2022 program so it is not too early to consider a possible club applicant for this most worthy program.
RYLA Update: The RYLA Week is now only 2 weeks away and we hope to have approximately 42 awardees. With Garry I met with our club sponsored participant Nelson at Crafers last Monday; a charming and confident 2nd year engineering student, he is looking forward to his leadership week. As the sponsoring club I hope that members can be involved especially on Friday night 23rd April when we are providing supper after the bush dance in the community Hall.
The presentation dinner is in Tuesday evening 23rd April and bookings need to be made very soon. The RYLA program has some very interesting sessions that members might like to attend. The bush dance is certainly going to be fun and would be good for members to join in.
