At our first meeting in January, members welcomed an overseas visitor, Richard from RC Krefeld [https://krefeld.rotary.de/] in North west Germany near the border with the Netherlands. Richard is a past Rotary District Governor and is visiting family in Adelaide. Working for more than 40 years in our local area to improve patient outcomes, the Flinders Foundation funds research, health initiatives and improves patient care from the youngest in neonatal care to the last in palliative care. The foundation invests millions in cancer research, medical equipment and has developed a child safety and well being health service facility to support vulnerable, abused and at-risk children.
We are looking at opportunities to partner with the Flinders Foundation in the future.
