Very proud of our NYSF student Jaimie for 2021 who attended Two Careers Days January 11 and 12 at the 2021 NYSF Year 12 Program. Participants were inspired by NYSF Partner representatives, including
Lockheed Martin Australia, The Australian National University, The University of Queensland, CSL, Bayer and CSIRO, who spoke about their #STEM career journeys and opportunities available at their organisations.
As part of the session, participants asked questions directly to the representatives, who provided advice on everything from STEM studies, pathways to their dream career, internships and graduate programs, and what it is like to work for their organisations.Week one of the program included a Nobel Laureate Lecture, a live cross to @CERN in Switzerland, seven Specialist Lectures, two panel discussions, three at-home science experiments, a critical thinking workshop, plus social activities including interest group meetups and a trivia night, it really was a STEM-filled first week at the Program!
