Vale Hon Life member Colin Read PHF

Colin was a Rotarian of more than 40 years serving in Rotary clubs of Naracoorte, Adelaide East, Gawler and was a Past President of Salisbury and Noarlunga East clubs. Recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow with Sapphire pin. Colin served in several directorships and as treasurer while at Noarlunga East, becoming a life member for that club and Morphett Vale.

Colin served his community with passion and love, receiving his 2008 O.A.M. for Community Service, Local Government and TAFE education. The reserve on the corner of States and Doctors Roads in Morphett Vale takes his name.

We have the opportunity to visit the Donations In Kind Warehouse at Explosives Road, Edinburgh SA to see and learn just what this arm of Rotary does and how, we as a club can help.

Tony Rutten will be our host for the morning.

We will be able to assist with sorting, packing or cleaning of equipment, so please wear your Rotary Shirts and suitable enclosed shoes.

Please bring some morning tea to share when we will have the opportunity to meet other Rotarians from other District 9510 clubs.

FOR WHAT? COME AND TRY CROQUET

COST $10 PER PERSON

We have the opportunity to enjoy a fun ‘Come and Try” night at the Coromandel Croquet Club.

The Cost is $10 per person, which includes a Sausage Sizzle at 6 pm, then fun on the green until approximately 9 pm.

Wear suitable flat shoes, BYO drinks and a warm jacket.
